Welcome to Temple Akiba's exclusive youth group for our 4th and 5th graders! Every 4-6 weeks Mini TASTY gets together for a fun and interactive activity. Programs are designed to give participants a chance to interact socially in a safe environment while exploring their Jewish roots. Our goal is to foster friendship, Jewish identity, and increase the likelihood of staying connected to the temple and to each other through high school and into young adulthood. JR. T.A.S.T.Y. (6TH, 7TH, AND 8TH GRADE)

Temple Akiba’s Junior Youth Group is for our Temple’s 6th and 7th graders. Jr. T.A.S.T.Y. offers exciting events such as outdoor recreation activities (hiking and rock climbing) and social events (movie nights, teambuilding events, and amusement parks). Jr. T.A.S.T.Y. builds on to the goals of Mini T.A.S.T.Y. the youth group gives our students the opportunity to build and strengthen their ties with other Jewish youth and the Temple, increasing the odds that they will stay involved in Judaism beyond their Bar/Bat Mitzvah. Jr. T.A.S.T.Y. prepares our 6th and 7th grade students for exciting and eventful opportunities in high school as active members of Akiba's Senior Youth Group for grades 9-12. Akiba's Junior Youth Group is great way to spend time with old friends and meet new ones!
