Tashlich & Beach Clean Up
Sunday, September 13, 10:00 AM Beach Clean up, 11:00 AM Tashlich Service
Join us at Toe’s Beach as we symbolically cast away our sins & regrets into the ocean & start the New Year refreshed! At 10:00 AM, we will participate in a reverse tashlich beach clean-up. Then at 11:00 AM, all are welcome to participate in Tashlich.

Community Sukkot Dinner
Friday, September 25 at 5:30 PM
We’ll enjoy a Shabbat dinner in and around the Sukkah from California Chicken Cafe. After dinner, we’ll commence to services at 6:30pm, where we'll greet Shabbat and honor the holiday of Sukkot.

Sukkot & Yizkor Morning Service
Saturday, September 26 at 10:30 AM
Join us under the Sukkah for a Sukkot Morning Service. The service will include a brief Torah Study as well as an opportunity to honor loved ones who have died with a Yikzor remembrance.

Simchat Torah with Mostly Kosher
Sunday, October 4 at 10:00 AM
We welcome Mostly Kosher to help us sing & dance and show our gratitude for the amazing gift that is Torah. Mostly Kosher, the acclaimed Klezmer/Rock band, radically reconstructs Judaic and American cultural music through ravenous klezmer beats and arresting Yiddish refrains.

Join this rejuvenated Temple Akiba tradition to experience Shabbat in nature, bond with your family and make new friends. During this weekend adventure, your family will enjoy 5 meals, plenty of yummy treats, art, sports, Shabbat & Havdallah with our clergy and so much more!
