You can use your credit card to schedule monthly or quarterly payments. Please contact the Temple at (310) 398-5783 or email bookkeeper@templeakiba.net to set up this option.

STOCK & OTHER SECURITIES

Donations of appreciated securities may allow you to avoid tax liability while receiving a deduction for your charitable contribution. Shares of stock may be donated to Temple Akiba via electronic transfer to the Temple’s account, please contact Dina Hempling at bookkeeper@templeakiba.net

When making a stock donation, please provide the following:

• Donor name and address

• Type and number of securities being transferred

• Date of the transfer

IRA TRANSFERS

If you are at least 70½ and own a traditional IRA, you can make an IRA charitable rollover gift this year. A gift of up to $100,000 made from your IRA directly to Temple Akiba:

•Will not be included in your taxable income.

•May satisfy your required minimum distribution (RMD) for the year.

•Could reduce your taxable income, even if you do not itemize deductions.

•Will not be subject to the 50% limitation on charitable gifts.

•Will help continue the legacy of Temple Akiba.

MATCHING GIFTS

Many companies will match your gift to Temple Akiba. Contact your Human Resources department to see if your company participates in such a program.

Contact your IRA custodian. Please notify us of your pending transfer and the financial company from which we should expect the wire transfer or check payment so that we can identify the funds once received.
