Adult education programs teach, inspire and uplift. Temple Akiba has been an innovative and intellectual center, with long standing groups and activities. From Saturday morning Torah Studies to Intro to Judaism and Adult Hebrew, there are opportunities for everyone to learn, think and grow.

Torah Study

Come be a part of the dialogue! Torah is an ongoing dialogue between the text and its readers, aka YOU. It is real in our daily lives and goes with us wherever we are. We meet to develop the skills to study Torah which is essential to integrating Torah into our lives. The meetings will be online and in person.
Adult Hebrew / B'nai Mitzvah Class
Every Wednesday from 6:00 PM - 6:45 PM
Beginning October 30 on Zoom
The first half of the class concentrates on learning Hebrew letters, vowels and blending the sounds together to read Hebrew. The second half of the class concentrates on learning prayers and learning to chant from the Torah. For those who are Temple Akiba members, the class culminates in an Adult B'nai Mitzvah ceremony.
